Information we collect

Wave Watcher collects the information needed to provide Lake Erie marine forecast briefings, including your name, email address, phone number, boat size, forecast area, delivery preferences, SMS consent status, billing identifiers, and delivery history.

How we use information

We use this information to create and manage your subscription, send recurring marine forecast briefings by email unless you opt into SMS delivery, tailor recommendations to your selected area and boat size, process billing through Stripe, respond to support requests, and maintain delivery/audit logs.

SMS privacy

SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not sell your personal information, phone number, SMS consent records, or message history. Service providers such as messaging carriers, Telnyx, Stripe, hosting providers, and email providers may process information only as needed to operate Wave Watcher.

Your choices

You can Reply STOP to pause Wave Watcher SMS briefings and Reply START to resume. You can also manage supported account preferences from your account page or contact support for help with phone, billing, or consent changes.
